For me, this material still feels quite new. I was looking for base plates for the wooden figures and was visiting scrap yards quite early on. I also always collected things that appealed to me and probably moved house three times before I could even weld anything.
wire
The picture shows quite large figures, i.e. reinforcing iron. It could be my first metal work.
sheets
I cut out a lot of things, but it took a while to install them because I wasn't able to weld such thin material with an electrode.
casting bronze
The bronzes are of course something completely different, the starting material was wax but so much is possible that it completely exceeds my imagination...
..welding thin sheet metal...
...was another breakthrough..
